1. Who we are
This website, fortivis.com, is run by FORTIVIS S.A. (FORTIVIS ΑΝΩΝΥΜΗ ΕΤΑΙΡΕΙΑ), registered in Greece under GEMI number 151882701000, at 23 A. Tritsi St., GR-152 38 Chalandri, Greece ("Fortivis", "we"). We are the controller of the personal data described here.

2. What this policy covers
This policy covers the website only. Work we do for clients is covered by our engagement terms.
3. What we collect, and why
When you send us a message. The contact form asks for your first name, last name, email address and message. Company and phone number are optional. We use these details to reply to you and to follow up on your enquiry. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering enquiries. The website does not keep a copy. It sends your message by email to our mailbox.
When you visit any page. Our hosting provider records technical data for each request: IP address, date and time, the page requested, and browser type. We use this to deliver the site and keep it secure. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in running a secure website.
When you agree to analytics. If you choose "Accept all" or switch on analytics in the cookie settings, we load Google Analytics 4. It records the pages you view, how you reached the site, your approximate location, and your device and browser type. We use this to understand how the site is used. The legal basis is your consent. Google Analytics is not loaded unless you agree. Google states that it does not log or store IP addresses of visitors in the EU.
What we do not do. We do not use advertising or social media tracking. We do not sell personal data. We do not make automated decisions about you.

You can change your choice at any time with the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of every page. If you withdraw consent, we stop sending data to Google Analytics. You can delete the existing analytics cookies in your browser settings.
5. Who receives your data
- Vercel Inc. (United States) hosts the website and processes each request.
- Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited (Microsoft 365) delivers contact form messages to us and hosts the mailbox that receives them.
- Google Ireland Limited provides Google Analytics, only if you consent.
- Our professional advisers, and public authorities, where the law requires it.
These providers act on our instructions under data processing agreements.
6. Transfers outside the European Economic Area
Some of these providers process data in the United States.
- Vercel Inc. is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Its data processing agreement also includes the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
- Google collects analytics data from visitors in the EU on servers in the EU, then may transfer it to Google LLC in the United States. Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Google's data processing terms also include the standard contractual clauses.
You can ask us for a copy of the safeguards that apply.
7. How long we keep data
- Enquiries in our mailbox: 2 years after our last contact with you.
- Hosting request logs at Vercel: up to 30 days.
- Google Analytics data: 2 months.
8. Your rights
You can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict its use, or send it to you in a portable format. You can object to processing that relies on our legitimate interest. You can withdraw consent at any time. This does not affect processing done before you withdrew it.
Write to privacy@fortivis.com. We reply within one month.
9. Security
The site is served only over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Access to our mailbox and provider accounts is limited to the people who need it.
10. Children
This website is for businesses. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
11. Links to other sites
The site links to other websites, such as LinkedIn and Google Maps. Their own privacy policies apply once you leave our site.
12. Changes to this policy
We will post any change on this page and update the date at the top.
